{"package":"r-lambertw","ecosystem":"conda","latest_version":"0.6.9_1","description":"Lambert W x F distributions are a generalized framework to analyze skewed, heavy-tailed data. It is based on an input/output system, where the output random variable (RV) Y is a non-linearly transformed version of an input RV X ~ F with similar properties as X, but slightly skewed (heavy-tailed). The transformed RV Y has a Lambert W x F distribution. This package contains functions to model and analyze skewed, heavy-tailed data the Lambert Way: simulate random samples, estimate parameters, compute quantiles, and plot/ print results nicely. Probably the most important function is 'Gaussianize', which works similarly to 'scale', but actually makes the data Gaussian. A do-it-yourself toolkit allows users to define their own Lambert W x 'MyFavoriteDistribution' and use it in their analysis right away.","license":"GPL-2.0-or-later","license_risk":"unknown","commercial_use_notes":"verify manually — license not parseable / not declared.","homepage":"https://github.com/gmgeorg/LambertW http://arxiv.org/abs/0912.4554 http://arxiv.org/abs/1010.2265 http://arxiv.org/abs/1602.02200","repository":"","downloads_weekly":268,"health":{"score":52,"risk":"high","breakdown":{"maintenance":10,"popularity":3,"security":25,"maturity":12,"community":2},"deprecated":false,"max_score":100},"vulnerabilities":{"count":0,"critical":0,"high":0,"medium":0,"low":0,"details":[]},"versions":{"latest":"0.6.9_1","total_count":8,"recent":["0.6.5","0.6.6","0.6.7","0.6.7_1","0.6.8","0.6.9","0.6.9_1","0.6.9_2"]},"metadata":{"deprecated":false,"deprecated_message":null,"maintainers_count":1,"first_published":"2020-11-19 11:01:59.472000+00:00","last_published":"2025-09-30 17:45:57.664000+00:00","dependencies_count":0,"dependencies":[]},"github_stats":null,"bundle":null,"typescript":null,"known_issues":{"bugs_count":0,"bugs_severity":{},"status_breakdown":{},"link":null,"scope":"none"},"historical_compromise":null,"recommendation":{"action":"use_with_caution","issues":["Moderate health score (52/100) — verify manually"],"use_version":"0.6.9_1","version_hint":null,"summary":"r-lambertw@0.6.9_1 low health (52/100) — consider alternatives"},"version_scoped":null,"_meta":{"endpoint":"check","tier":"full","philosophy":"DepScope is free.
